Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Greece, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel and local Android apps in Greece displayed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting from about 7.5K in early July and declining to roughly 3.5K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating around 90K throughout the quarter.

FREENOW - Taxi and more experienced a decrease in weekly downloads during the initial weeks, dropping from around 7.1K to 4.1K. However, there was a recovery towards the end of the quarter, with downloads climbing back to approximately 6.3K. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 25K, with a noticeable peak at the start of September reaching close to 27K.

MyCoast experienced a significant spike in downloads mid-July, reaching over 15K, before declining sharply to about 75 by the end of September. This indicates a high initial interest that tapered off as the quarter progressed.

Ferryhopper - The Ferries App saw a peak in weekly downloads in early August with about 7.7K, followed by a gradual decline to approximately 624 by the end of September. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at around 10K and decreasing to about 3.9K.

Google Earth maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 3.5K per week in July, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained stable, hovering around 25K throughout the period.
